What's the shelf life of the cookies?
We seal our cookies in bags so they generally retain freshness for up to 2 weeks.
Where do you deliver?
We ship everywhere in the United States of America via USPS and UPS. We also ship to the United Kingdom, France, and Canada via FedEx. Please ensure that your shipping address is completely correct. If anything is wrong and the package can’t be delivered, that will be your responsibility and we won’t be able to send a complimentary replacement order to you.
When will you ship my order?
Please allow 2-3 business days for us, once you've placed your order, to bake your cookies before you receive your tracking information. Sometimes our processing times may increase and decrease (please check the banner at the top of our homepage which will reflect current processing/baking times). We ship multiple times a week.
Who do we ship with?
We mainly use Ground Advantage & Priority Mail with USPS but sometimes we use UPS Ground depending on the location. As well as FedEX for international orders. We are not responsible for stolen packages.
Do you do corporate gifting orders?

How should I store my cookies if I don’t want to eat them right away?
Freeze them in the sealed bags we package them in or cling wrap and then once ready take them out and put in the microwave to defrost for 45 seconds or put in an conventional oven at 350 degrees for approximately 4-6 minutes (keep an eye on them and check periodically while they're in the oven as this depends on the flavor type).
Why are some flavors/options sold out?
At Fat Butter we prepare a certain amount of dough ahead of time before making it available to ensure that we can fulfill every order placed and keep up with the demand. As a small operation, we use this recipe to safeguard against burnout which could lead to us not delivering the BEST Fat Butter cookies possible. We want to make sure we stay refreshed so you can enjoy these delicious cookies.
Refunds/Returns
We know you probably know this already but there are no refunds on any orders because we sell perishable items. Thank you for understanding!
Need your cookies for a specific date?
If you ever need to receive your cookies by a specific day, please email us to see if we can make that accommodation. info@fatbuttercookies.com. It'll cost a bit extra if we can make it happen.
How do we handle your order?
We properly pack and cushion your cookies in our shipping box with packing paper but we can't control how the carrier handles the package. There is a chance that a couple of your cookies may arrive broken, however, we rarely get any feedback that our cookies have arrived in an unsatisfactory state from our customers.
Should I warm up my cookies when I receive them?
Microwaving the cookies for a few seconds is recommended but we have heard from many of our customers that the cookies taste incredible without being warmed up. If you don't have a microwave, put them in a conventional oven at 350 for 1 minute.
Who took all the scrumptious pictures of the cookies?
All food photography and visual design is done by Samantha! We keep everything in-house and we love having fun with creating everything about Fat Butter.
